Should India have a two-party system?
Ofcource yes.
As we have observed in last couple of decades the worst ever political turmoil & anarchy created by multi part. especially regional outfits.
Naturally regional outfits have their own priority &issues for which they are going to any extent even up to topple the government at central level. Due to multi party single largest party in the absence of clear majority forced to from coalition with the support of smaller many parties who are influential at local level & capturing couple of sits bargain the coalition for futile issues to serve their selfish motive. many a times even at the cost of national important issues centre has to compromise. this is sheer blackmailing of coalition treachery with the nation too. 123 agreement is live example.Defection & split has become routine due to multi party, ultimately stability of government comes to stake, that also down the impression of India internationally.
many a times the post of President, Vice president or speaker is being bargained to continue support ultimately competent & more qualified persons from larger parties or fro m eminent fields are deprived & nation becomes loser. To curb all these menace two party system is the lone alternative left with us.
